We are just back from our holidays. We cruised from Southampton to the Caribbean on P&O's Ventura. We left Southampton and cruised for three days before stopping at Tenerife for a day, then another five days cruising before we arrived at the Caribbean. We visited five islands: St Maarten, St Vincent, Tortola, Dominica (a late replacement for St. Lucia, which had been damaged by the tropical storm), and Barbados. We flew back to Gatwick from Barbados at the end of the cruise. We had a brilliant time and would thoroughly recommend this cruise to anyone who would listen!

Kevin and Jan have just moved in to their new house. It is just around the corner from where they used to livei n Crayford. It's a really nice three bedroom house with a garden. driveway and outside workshop. Debbie and I joined the working party on the first weekend to help tidy the garden and spruce up the bathroom! I'm sure they will be very happy there!

We have just been to the Orkney Isles! What a great place - we realy liked the Islands and cant wait to go back!

Hi, We're just back from a cheap week in Zante. Good weather and lots of nice restaurants. We arrived at the hotel and we were the first guests of the season. We had the pool to ourselves! By the end of the week there were a few other guests including someone who works in the same building as myself in London - it's such a small world!

It was a good week away but, because we were there very early in the season, it was a bit quiet. We are not sure that we would go there again but we do like Greece and may go to a different location.

Feb 2010

2010 is now here and we have seen more changes to the Moloney family here in and around sunny Darenth, near Dartford, in Kent.

Janette is now married to Kevin and they are currently living in Crayford quite near to the railway station.

Gillian is now living with Miguel in Gravesend. She is continuing with her Portuguese lessons and has recently been out to Portugal for Christmas.

Debbie continues to work full time as Practice Manager at an Opticians in Blackheath.

And I have just started a new job working for the Department of Transport in London.
